Biography
Combining mixed media with serendipitous renderings, Nathan Monk’s paintings are products of his surroundings, metaphorically and literally. He not only sees his materials as tools but partners in creating his imaginative works.
Nathan takes his inspiration from tangible images and surrounds them with inventive depictions of his underlying thoughts. He attended the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, Indiana for three semesters before he embarked on the lifelong journey of starting a family. Nathan now resides in Lebanon, Indiana with his wife, Rachel, and his son, Jonathan.
